Our CEO Jodie Candia had this to say…

I have been running my new organisation, Candia Care and Support in Port Macquarie since October of 2024. I’m driven by a deep passion for helping others live their best lives. My inspiration came from recognising the challenges people face in accessing the right support and wanting to be a true advocate for inclusivity and independence.

Maintaining a healthy work-life balance can be challenging, but I prioritise setting boundaries, delegating tasks, and making time for self-care. I believe that to give my best to others, I need to take care of myself too.

During tough times, I stay motivated by reminding myself of why I started as seeing the positive impact on the lives of those we support keeps me going. I also rely on a strong support system, continuous learning, and goal-setting to stay productive. Challenges are inevitable, but I see them as opportunities to grow and improve the services we provide.
